Whether you want to transfer data or request data from your friends, we've got you covered. Let's dive in and explore these methods.


Three Ways to Transfer/Share Data on MTN:

1. Transfer Data Using the MTN USSD Code:

   - Open your phone's call dialer app and dial *321*2#.

   - Select the first option, "Transfer from Data Balance."

   - Enter the recipient's or receiver's phone number.

   - Choose the amount of data you wish to transfer.

   - Confirm the transfer by entering "1."

   - You're done! The recipient will receive a confirmation message from MTN.


   You can also use this code to request data from your friends. Follow the same steps, but select the third option, "Request from a friend."


2. Transfer Data Using Text Messages:

   - Open your phone's messaging app.

   - Type "Transfer <friend's number> <data amount>" (e.g., Transfer 08105563668 200).

   - Send this message to the number "321."

   - Ensure you replace the phone number with your friend's number and the data amount with the intended transfer amount.

   - Congratulations, you've successfully shared data with your friend.


3. Transfer Data Using the MyMTN Mobile App:

   - Go to Google Play Store and search for "MyMTN" or simply tap the download button.

   - Open the app and select "Continue with phone number" after confirming your identity with an OTP code.

   - On the app's homepage, choose the "Share" option.

   - Select "Data" and enter the data amount and the recipient's phone number.

   - Hit the "Proceed" button, and the selected data amount will be sent to the recipient's phone number.


Sharing data on MTN is now easier than ever, and you can choose the method that suits you best. Keep your loved ones connected and enjoy seamless data sharing with MTN.
